Match 12 | April 16th-17th, 2016

Win 3&1

The home of golf is so welcoming and such a special place to play. This match was a treat as these two courses are at the top of the crop. Navigating round was a breeze, it was the golf that was tricky. Day one was all square so celebrations and dice were played. Day two opened the game up and saw Rasmussen and Robinson really step it up to win at the seaside.

St Andrews New

The oldest ‘new’ course in the world, was built by the Keeper of the Green, Tom Morris in 1895 and it was imaginatively named to differentiate from its famous neighbour. Boasting undulating fairways and challenging greens, the New Course is a classic test of links golf.

Kingsbarns

Golf was resurrected on Kingsbarns Links at the dawning of the 21st Century. The only Scottish course to be built on links land in over 70 years and with its seaside setting, Kingsbarns joined the great old courses of nearby St Andrews and Carnoustie, bringing with it a new dimension to the traditional Scottish game.
